Academic advising in psychology provides individual assistance in establishing goals and making decisions in your academic career at UCR. The Student Affairs officers and the faculty will provide up-to-date information about academic rules and policies, and follow up about individual problems. Academic advising also will attempt to assist with individual challenges, respecting each student and insuring confidentiality.
It is the student's responsibility keep current about college expectations and assessment of your progress towards your degree. In addition to seeking advice, students should study the General Catalog and other resources to learn basic academic rules, regulations, and standards of excellence. There are many student services and campus programs to address your needs.
